Gentle lymphatic massage
A
slow hour at the edge of the evening.
Light, rhythmic strokes in a quiet studio, a sheet over you the whole time, and appointments until eight.
The strokes are light and slow, and the pressure is always yours.
Lighter than you expect.
Lymphatic massage uses the flat of the hand in slow, even strokes, one part of the body at a time. It is not a deep-tissue session. Many clients rest through it; you are welcome to talk or to stay quiet.

Who should ask a doctor first
A gentle session suits most people. These four should check first.

Before you book
How long is a session?
Between 30 and 90 minutes. Most first visits are an hour, which leaves time to talk at the start and to rest at the end.
What does it feel like?
Very light. The strokes are slow and even, closer to a hand resting and moving than to a massage you feel working. If you want more or less pressure, say so and we change it.
Am I covered the whole time?
Yes. A sheet or towel covers you, and only the part we are working on is uncovered. When we move on, it is covered again.
Can I stop?
At any time and for any reason. You can pause, change position or end the session, and we stop right away.
Who should ask a doctor first?
Anyone who is pregnant, has had surgery recently, or is under a doctor's care should ask before booking. After surgery, we wait for your surgeon's go-ahead.
